Intro to Centering Prayer by Zoom
Time & Location
About the Event
During this strange time, one way to draw closer to God and be of greater service to those around you is through Centering Prayer. Contemplative Outreach of Southeastern Wisconsin (COSEW) is offering a Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop by Zoom on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 pm CT.
The Zoom login instructions will be sent to you a few days prior to the workshop.
No registration fee is required; donations gratefully accepted ($20 suggested).
Six Follow-up Sessions will take place on Saturday, October 24, 31, and November 7, 14, 21, and 28. Registration for the Follow-up sessions will open after the introductory workshop.
“The benefits of Centering Prayer are experienced more in daily life than during the time of Centering Prayer.
- We may find ourselves becoming more tolerant and less judgmental.
- We may be able to come back into balance more easily after an emotional upset.
- A greater understanding of the needs of the human family emerges and leads each individual to respond with acts of mercy and compassion.”
